Sometimes I forget how much my dreams affect my actions in real life; I don't have reoccurring dreams so much anymore, as reoccurring actions and themes that happen in my dreams ( Read more... )

I don't think people realize how much their actions give them away. Working in customer service, I've had some terrible customers, I've had some wonderful customers, and I've had some customers that stay in my memory because the things they said really bothered me.

• It occurred to me recently that I find it more offensive when people use "oh gods" online instead of "oh god". Occasionally I try to think about what writing means. What is it to write? What is it to spin words and tell tales and make the reader feel? Why? I think of when I was retaking piano and my teacher said, to this extent, "I want you to go from finding the keys in the right order, to making music."
